Rosman Heritage Day

Friends for Rosman invite everyone to Rosman Heritage Day, Saturday May 16th from 10 AM til 4 PM in downtown Rosman, with activities to include music, food, blow-ups, a car show, train rides, horse rides and over 40 vendors. Parking is available at Rosman Elementary with shuttle buses running to and from the event.

The City of Brevard, Holiday Solid Waste and Cardboard Collection Schedule for the upcoming Memorial Day:No Collections will take place on Monday, May 25, 2026. Makeup day on will take place on Thursday, May 28th.


City of Hendersonville Offices will be Closed

The City of Hendersonville offices will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. There will be no collection of garbage, recycling, and brush. Collection for Monday customers will be delayed by one week with collection resuming on Monday, June 1, 2026. Holiday collection schedules are available on the City’s website at https://www.hendersonvillenc.gov/public-works/garbage-collection. Grief Share Support Group

A Grief Share Support Group for people grieving death of a loved one is starting on Tuesdays on March 3rd-May 26th at 6PM-7:30 PM at the Cedar Mountain Baptist Church located at 7765 Greenville Hwy.
