The City of Hendersonville Offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of New Year's Day. There will be no collection of garbage, recycling, and brush.Collection for Thursday customers will be delayed by one week with collection resuming on Thursday, January 8, 2025. Holiday collection schedules are available on the City’s website at https://www.hendersonvillenc.gov/public-works/garbage-collection. Victory Baptist Church Friday Night Jubilee
Pastor Stanley Adcock and the Congregation of the Victory Baptist Church invite you their Friday Night Jubilee on January 2nd. Prayer room begins at 7pm and service begins at 7:30pm. Bro. Transylvania Board of Commissioners Meeting
The Transylvania Board of Commissioners Meeting has been canceled for Monday, December 22. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 12, at 4 PM. It will be held in the Multipurpose Chambers at the Transylvania County Administration Building, located at 101 S. Broad Street, Brevard, NC. In accordance with North Carolina open meeting law, all meetings are open to the public.
The Transylvania County Tourism Development Authority's Destination Infrastructure Committee
The upcoming Transylvania County Tourism Development Authority's Marketing Committee meeting on Tuesday, December 16th, has been canceled. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 20th, at 10 am in the meeting room on the second floor of the Chamber Building at 175 East Main St in Brevard.
