This will take place on Saturday, September 26th at 9am at the AB Tech Main Campus in Asheville, NC. This is a fundraiser for first responder mental health and commemorating Hurricane Helene. Benefit Golf Tournament
The Pilgrims Pathway House of Refuge will be hosting their 9th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on Saturday, October 10th, starting at 2 PM. It will be located at the Marion Lake Club in Nebo, NC. Entry fee is $300 per team or $75 per player. This includes a cart, green fees and a free lunch. This will help support a ministry of the Pilgrims Way Baptist Church to help men who have just been released from prison and long term jail sentences find Hope and point them to the Lord Jesus Christ. City of Hendersonville Document Shred Event
The City of Hendersonville will sponsor a Document Shred Event for City residents on Monday, October 12th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.This year’s event will be held in Patton Park located at 114 E. Clairmont Drive in Hendersonville. The City of Hendersonville residents are invited to bring up to two boxes or up to 50 lbs. of paper items to be shredded. Suggested items to shred are financial statements, canceled checks, credit card statements, payroll stubs, insurance forms, old tax returns, forms from doctor's offices, etc. This event is not for business shredding. The event will happen rain or shine. If the shredding truck fills up before 1:00 p.m., the event will be over. To make this part of a community outreach effort, the City is asking residents coming to the event to bring non-perishable pantry items to donate to Interfaith Assistance Ministry (IAM).
